December 2010, I visited the online Nascar site to purchase an item for my brother-in-law as a Christmas gift. What I didn't realize at the time is that they charged my credit card for an annual membership to Nascar. I didn't see the charge until this week when they again billed my card for the renewal. When I called, they immediately issued a credit but told me they could do nothing about the prior year. I told the rep that I did not authorize any charges for memberships. He sounded as though it is a common practice for them to sign people up for memberships. Do not visit this site. Very misleading and deceptive . 129457d
